The Boys Den ( Boarding inside ) 19/11/13 (Tuesday )

Mike has been able to get into the new shed this week that will be home to our for male buns that were part of the 8 foster buns that we fostered in May as babies and kept ( sadly two of them died ) .

Mike has been working inside the shed or den as we call it and so far he's put damp proofing and insulation on the floor and then put wooden flooring over the top.

Yesterday he put insulation on the inside walls of the den. Here are photos below of what he has done so far and I will be adding to this thread as he goes along.

It's getting time to get in there, today Mike has gone to the tip and I think when he comes back he's going to have a brew and a read of his book 'Becoming Johnny Vegas' by Johnny Vegas. ( he's from St Helens, Lancashire and Mike is ).

If we have nobody dropping off or collecting buns on a Sunday we usually just do our own thing in the afternoon like relax  

And relax you both should, you deserve it, you do a fantastic job not only looking after your own buns so well but then the boarders too (to the point they don't want to leave

Mike started boarding inside today and it is looking good so far. I just popped in the shed to see what it was like and to say it's freezing here today and the shed door's were wide open it was quite nice and warm inside the shed.

Trouble is he's working on the shed when he get's time which isn't very often

Despite it being bitterly cold yesterday ( Monday ) Mike managed to get in the boys shed for a couple of hours and do some more boarding, not far to go now with the boarding. It look's really cosy inside already.

I think so well hoping so, it will have a couple of those wall heater's in there and extra bedding for them and light's and should be nice and cosy for the bad Winters. We would rather have them all in the house but we just don't have the room.

Update on the Boys Den 1st December 2013.

All the sides are now boarded and the floor and today he has been finishing off the roof with white wood panels. Next will be the painting.
