Vibes for Penny and Sox Please/ UD 'Had to let her go':-(

Penny isn't eating and just doesn't seem right in herself  
and Sox I think may need a dental  

They are both at the Vet's tomorrow to see Honor at 12:00

Thanks guy's, they rang from the vet's early this morning to say Honors car had broke down so Mike had to be there with Penny and Sox for 2:30pm instead of 12:00 so he should be nearly there now with them.

Penny hasn't eaten any breakfast this morning but finished all her tea last night and poor Sox's eyes last night and this morning have been closed due to the gunk in them I bathed them last night and Mike has done them this morning, think she will need her tear duct's flushing.

Will let you know as soon as I hear anything from Mike.

Fingers crossed it's nothing bad

Update 3:50pm

I text Mike as it's been ages now and I haven't heard anything and he said Sox is back tomorrow morning for a dental and he is now waiting for the results of Penny's blood test that Honor's done so I'm a bit worried now till I know what is wrong with her  

Update 4:21pm

Honor is baffled, Penny's bloods and everything is normal yet she is showing sign's of ileus yet she has eaten her tea last night and is pooping for England but she is bloated.
She has been given a vetergesic injection and we have to keep her on her meds but if she is still the same tomorrow she has to go back with Sox and they will x-ray her.

I said to Mike the other day her tummy look's like our Poppet's did ( our Dutch girl ) and she had a tumour in her abdomen and this is how she was she would eat one day and then nothing the next so I am hoping and praying it's not as Penny doesn't deserve it nor did our beautiful Poppet.  

Honor gave Ant a quick check up and said he is fit as a fiddle and she and the staff thought he was lovely.

Penny is about the same very quiet I'm hoping she will eat a little tonight, she didn't journey well either to and from the vet's and she has to go through it all again tomorrow Bless her  

Sox is cuddled up to Ant they really do love each other it's so lovely to see them both a lot happier. Honor is going to flush her tear ducts while she is under a light GA. Hope she will be ok she is an older lady is Sox.

Update Friday 9:14 am

Penny didn't eat her tea at all last night in fact she didn't venture much out of her hay bed apart from an odd wee. There
was a couple of soft poops this morning but that's all.

Mike took her back to the vet's along with Sox this morning and Honor will x-ray her so I am worried out of my mind now.

Then about 30 minutes after Mike set off with them he rang me and my heart sank as I honestly thought he was going to say
something bad but in a way he did only it wasn't the buns it was his dam car he said there was something wrong with it as the
engine light had come on and it was chugging along like a train and he said he would call out the AA while waiting for Penny to
have her x-ray.

He's just text this minute to say he got to the vet's ok.

I really wish we could have some good news for a change or even some luck but sometimes we are apt to feel that the big
guy above has got it in for us. It's been one of those weeks ..........yet again!

everytime I see you post about penny I really hope it's good news but it seems to be going on too long for poor penny I pray she will be ok sending more vibes and hugs for you all x
          

Update 12:24 pm

Sadly we have had to let our beautiful girl Penny go to the Bridge as her x-ray showed she had a mass that was to close to tissue to operate and it was also affecting her spine and she was in pain.

Penny was only 18 months old and we had her for 6 wonderful months but that's all, she was suppose to have a wonderful life here with us but
it was cut short today.

That's 10 rabbits now we have lost this year and one every month for the last 4 months.

Heart broken again

Thanks everyone.

We just can't believe she is gone it's just so strange looking at her indoor cage and her play pen with all her little toys in it , I am never going to be able to kiss that cute face of her's or give her a cuddle again and it's just not fair she was so happy . I am still coming to terms with losing precious Baby Saint and now I have loss Penny to, we seem to have been burning candles forever. I feel like my little bunny family is leaving me    

       

Mike took Penny to the pet Crem today and I have been so poorly I had to go back to bed which isn't me as I just felt I was going to pass out although I am feeling much better at the moment I am very unsteady on my feet and I keep getting really bad headaches
